The first floor of 20 Washington Place will be renovated to include a new Advising Center, including the Registrar’s Office and Student Financial Services, and the Career Center. The lobby will be reworked to include flexible gathering and presentation spaces, spaces to showcase student work, and an events space that will allow a range of reception opportunities. In the parking area to the rear of the building we will build a new structure that will include a new mail room with better receiving space for packages, a cardboard recycling area, and a new 2,400 SF multipurpose space with upgraded technology capabilities and flexible configuration potential. A new entrance on the east side of the building will provide accessible entry.
December 2017: Information Technology Services and the Controllers Office relocate to 123 Dyer ST. 1st and 2nd floors. ITS Service Desk relocates to 20 Washington Place B25.
January-April 2018: Renovation of the east side of the floor, including the women’s room. New east side entrance is constructed. Parking lot and rear entrance come offline.
May 2018: Registrar’s Office and Student Financial Services temporarily relocate to the east side of the floor.
May-August 2018: Renovation of the west side of the floor, Work continues in east lobby. Front entrance is offline starting in June; entrance to the building will be via the new east entrance.
June-December 2018: Rear addition is built.
August 2018: Registrar’s Office and Student Financial Services move to the west side of the floor. Career Center moves from 123 Dyer St. to the east side of the floor. Front entrance and lobby reopen.
